About this object
The handle is decorated in relief with an elaborate frame centering an oval medallion engraved with a bust portrait in profile of the Empress Anna. The handle ends in a crown but not the cleft Imperial crown. At the tip opposite the handle is a knob with the Imperial double headed eagle.
