About this object
From one side projects a handle in the shape of a lion's head with a ring in its mouth to hang up the cup. The interior of the cup has a raised central section and raised lobes around the sides. In the center is a raised monogram surrounded by an inscription and topped by a crown. The lobes contain alternately a vase with flowers, raised, and leaf scrolls, engraved, against a stippled ground.
