About this object

This upper portion of this rectangular sugar bowl is decorated with four distinct decorative panels. The first panel features an eagle on a globe, facing to the left. The second panel has an eagle on a globe, facing to the right. The third panel consists of a group of trophies with a helmet and a drum. And the fourth panel depicts a group of trophies with cuirasses, or body armor. The lower part of the sugar bowl features a melon design. The foot has pseudo-classical scrolls and marks.

The sugar bowl is rectangular in shape tapering to a rectangular foot. The upper part is decorated with small rectangular panels of four designs: 1. eagle on globe facing left; 2. eagle on globe facing right; 3. group of trophies with helmet and drum; 4. group of trophies with cuirass, etc. The lower part of the bowl has a melon design. The foot has pseudo-classical scrolls and marks.
