About this object

A curious spoon of a type brought back as a souvenir. Along the handle are a series of projecting eight leaves made in silver filigree. The bowl is shell shaped, also mostly in filigree. The outer edge of the bowl is made of openwork and the inner edge is solid with a rayed appearance.
