The spoon is a grapefruit spoon. The handle has seven enamelled coat of arms grouped at the end. Below them in silver is the words DOMINION OF CANADA and a twisted handle. In the bowl is a relief of a monument labeled QUEBEC CHAMPLAIN MONUMENT. On the back of the handle in relief is a logging scene on a river.
