About this object
There is a narrow plain band at the bottom and a wide plain band at the top with turning at the lip. The rest of the sides have a fine repoussé decoration consisting of rococo scrolls, leaves, flowers and two cartouches each with an eagle. One eagle issitting on a scroll with spread wings and its head turned to the side; the other one is shown in profile sitting on cluster of flowers with one wing raised. Some of the stippling is gilded.
