About this object

The frame is decorated with rinceau scrollwork in repousse. The inner beveled edge is engraved. The outer edge is also worked in repousse. At each corner is an applied plaque with filigree enamelled in white, blue, red and turquoise. The frame contains a black and white photograph of King Gustav of Sweden mounted on paper. The photograph is signed and dated.
