About this object
The square ashtray is set with a coronation medal of George VI. On the obverse is a profile of King George VI which is inscribed. On the reverse a profile of his wife Elizabeth with an inscription. They both face to the left and are dressed in robes with crowns on their heads. The ashtray has indentations in the four corners to hold cigarettes. The area between each indentation has a hatched design.
