About this object
The main portion of the seal is designed with the head of a Black African boy in enamel. The rest is mound shaped in silver gilt, which is chased with shells and profiles of a man. It is set with rubies, turquoise, and other stones. The bottom is a piece of bloodstone for a seal but is uncut.
