About this object
The opening for the photograph has a beaded gold oval frame with swags of leaves below carved in red and green gold. The background around the oval is in translucent white enamel against an engraved sun-burst design. The outer frame is in translucent blue enamel with a pale green enamel for the corners. At the top is a garland of leaves tied with a ribbon from which hang large swags of leaves, all carved in red, green and white gold.
