About this object
The tankard with three ball feet has an elaborate repoussé design around its sides with a continuous scene with trees, an angel at the left, a seated woman with crown in the center and a seated woman with a laurel spray at the right. On the cover en repoussé is a profile bust of a man in a wig identified as General-Admiral Count Fedor Matveevich Apraksin (after a model struck in 1708).
