About this object
There is a gilded design of grape vines, leaves and bosses in the pseudo-rococo taste of the 19th century. Much of the background has a punched silver decoration. The handle is made in imitation of a grape vine branch, showing the rough bark and knots. The detachable cover has a similar decoration and a flower for a handle.
