This swivel seal is made of purpurine glass suspended in a frame of red and green gold carved with rows of laurel leaves beneath a lover's knot. The seal was intended to be engraved with the owner's coat of arms or initials.
A swivel seal made with a rectangle of purpurine glass, which was intended to be engraved with the owner’s coat of arms or initials. Frame and loop for suspension are in two color gold, red and green. Row of laurel leaves is carved on front of frame and another is on back, both beneath a lover's bowknot in red gold.
