About this object

The handle is a six-sided crystal of aquamarine. The trumpet shaped base is enameled in translucent peach colored enamel with swags of a purplish color floating in it, the whole over an engraved ground. At the top and bottom of the base are laurel leaves carved in green gold against red. There is an agate set in the base.
