About this object
The photograph case is rectangular in shape. Except for the cover, the case is plain gold outside. The cover is set with lapis lazuli except for the center, which is set with a central plaque of mother-of-pearl. This is decorated with a spray of flowers and leaves in darker mother-of-pearl, small cabochon rubies for the centers of the flowers, and gold for the stems. The thumb piece is set with tiny diamonds. Inside, there is an easel for a photograph of Wendy Dye as a baby.
