About this object
The seal is shaped like a mailed arm and hand holding a baton. The elbow and forearm portions are made in bloodstone, while the elbow piece and mailed glove are chased in gold. The baton is also carved in gold and is set with a piece of bloodstone carved with initials surmounted by a nine pointed crown of a count.
