About this object

The oval box has a scalloped edge. The cover has a floral spray made from diamonds set in silver, which is surrounded by twelve large diamonds, all on a matte gold ground. The lobed sections of the sides are enamelled with clusters of flowers. The bottom of the box is enameled in the center with a cluster of flowers in violet on a yellow ground. This is surrounded by a border of swags of roses entwined with a ribbon in pale green on a lavender ground. There are stars under each arch of roses.
