About this object
Lower portion is triangular shaped with a star of the order on each face and the ribbon around the bottom and just above an acanthus decoration at each intersection of the sides. Details in gold. Baluster section is also picked out in gold. Two tiers for candles, one for nine candles and one for three. Handles are in gilt bronze and the candleholders in porcelain, each one decorated with the three badges of the order.
