The frame is oval in shape. The opening for the photograph has a circle of small diamonds with the imperial crown and sprays of lily-of-the-valley at the top, also in diamonds. The rest of the frame is in oyster enamel on a sunburst guilloche ground. The miniature depicts Marwee Durant Dye.
