Events

Enjoy enriching and educational programming year-round.

Through the Fire

Please note: This event has been postponed to March 16 (from its original date in February).

Gather at Hillwood for a celebration on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 7 – 10 p.m. Explore the special exhibition The Luxury of Clay: Porcelain Past and Present; enjoy an open bar, delicious food, and decadent desserts; and bid on choice items in the auction.

Your support is vital to Hillwood's continuing work to educate and inspire the public through the legacy of Marjorie Merriweather Post's collections and gardens. Gifts will support the development of innovative new programming, educational opportunities, and special exhibitions.

Please join us in cocktail attire.

Please note: All those in attendance of the event must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Guests must display a physical or digital copy of their vaccination card/record and a government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, with the same name upon arrival. Sponsors and ticket purchasers are responsible for communicating these rules to whomever they provide tickets.

Masks are currently required indoors at Hillwood. Mask requirements for Through the Fire will be based on DC regulations, CDC recommendations, and Hillwood policy at the time of the event.
