Girl Scout Outdoor Art Badge Workshop

Sculpture from Rich Soil exhibitionCalling all Brownies and Juniors! Earn your Girl Scout Outdoor Art badge, with outdoor art-making inspired by the sculpture exhibition Kristine Mays: Rich Soil.

Walk Hillwood's gardens to discover life-sized wire sculptures by contemporary African American artist Kristine Mays, and learn how she creates her work, and what motivates her. Inspired by Kristine Mays's artwork and Hillwood's grounds, create your own nature-inspired wire art. You'll explore Hillwood at your own pace using an activity booklet that leads you on a self-guided adventure through the gardens.
