The figurine is carved from a light colored jade. The Kuan Yin is dressed in flowing robes with a topknot on top of her head. She smiles and turns her head towards her left shoulder. She holds in front of her a fly whisk in her left hand. In her upraised right hand, she holds a fruit. The wooden base is rather plain.
