The figurine is carved from green jade. The boat has a rudder in the rear and a pointed prow. The sail is in the center of the boat and is controlled by a man in the front. The sail is square and uneven in shape and is topped by a lotus blossom. There is another man in the back holding a paddle. The wooden base is carved like tangled lotus plants.
