About this object

The frame is rectangular with the top edge slightly curved. It is carved from pale green jade. At the top center is one oval medallion in carved carnelian. There is an inner border of chased gilt metal. The jade is carved with an openwork design of leaves, vines and flowers. Contains a black and white photograph of Ellen Brevoort MacNeille, ca. 1957, wearing a strapless evening gown, a single strand of pearls, and filigree earrings.
