The frame is carved from pale green jade with delicate patterns of vines and leaves. The frame contains a black and white photograph of a 1926 portrait of Eva Stotesbury by Douglas Chandor.

The frame is carved from pale green jade. The sides of the frame extend beyond the top and bottom ends. The top ends are curved, while the bottom ends are flat with perpendicular pieces at the bottom to create feet for the frame. The top and bottom edges are carved in a delicate rinceau of vines and leaves. The side pieces show leaves and flowers, but in less openwork. The frame contains a black and white photograph mounted on paper of a 1926 portrait of Eva Stotesbury by Douglas Chandor.
