About this object
To the left of this miniature icon, in a separate space and with her name inscribed in black above, is the full-length figure of St. Juliana. The rest of the icon depicts the burial of St. Peter, Metropolitan of Moscow. The saint lies in a coffin in front of a cloth-coverd table with a book ontop, with a group of clergy at his head and princely mourners at his feet. The feastdays of both saints are celebrated on 21 December.
