Portrait is of Peter the Great half length and facing to the right. His hair is long, falling down his back and he has a moustache. He is dressed in a suit of armor with gilt edges. He wears the blue ribbon of the Imperial Order of St. Andrew the First Called which was established by Peter the Great in 1699 and which was only conferred on him in 1703.
