About this object

Two piece negligee of peach colored silk edged with yellow machine made Valenciennes lace. The main garment is constructed from a circular capelet worn over the head, with a decorative bias cut inset at center back that extends the length of the garment, ending in a long train. Wide ties wrap around the waist to form a large bow at center front. A bias cut modesty panel is secured with a self fabric waist band closing at side front.
