About this object

Semi-fitted, three quarter length sleeping slip with narrow shoulder straps and flat, horizontal panels of embroidered lace at top. The body of the garment is composed of plain panels of silk organza with inset godets of silk satin decorated with lace cutouts. The hem is finished with the same lace. Slip has a left side closure with four small flat buttons. The sleevelss robe is decorated with matching lace details on the bodice. A bias cut, triangular shaped drape is inset at the front neckline, while the back is cut in a low V-shape. The body of the garment is silk charmeuse cut in one with no seams, converging at center back with lace embroidery. The garment ends in plain silk organza cut in a trumpet shape with a center back seam and finished at hem with the same lace.
