About this object

Two piece gown of mint green silk organza and taffeta. The bodice has a high, lightly boned laced collar and elbow length semi-full sleeves with a fitted undersleeve. Bodice is trimmed with four rows of ruched fabric trim and a free-hanging a lace panel with lower scalloped edge. The boned silk underbodice has a fitted yoke worn inside the skirt. The skirt is constructed on a gored silk taffeta foundation with pleated ruffles at the hem. An overskirt of silk organza is decorated with rows of ruched fabric trim and applied lace. Skirt has a slight train. Both skirt and bodice close at center back.
