About this object

The mirror is made in the Adam style. It is an oval mirror with an elaborate frame. The top and bottom have carved leaf scrolls with rosettes attached to them. The scrolls are very circular in shape. At the very top is an urn finial surrounded by a garland of leavea and berries. There are several bands of leaf and bead moldings around the frame with a rosette in the center of each side. The background of the central band is gray silk velvet.
