About this object

The armchairs are chippendale style. The back and seat are upholstered in needlework. The scenes include fish, ships and British flags. They have a curved top with open curved arms ending in horizontal scrolls. The legs have curved knees, and front scrolled feet, while the back feet are plain. .1 has three boats on the seat. The back has a docked ship at left which is receiving provisions from a man to the left. To the right is a village scene.
