About this object

The bachelor's chest is made in the Chippendale style. It has a plain top which is hinged in the front to unfold out. There are four drawers with two brass bat handles each. The top drawer is slightly smaller than others to accomodate two pulls, one on each side, upon which rests the top when open. It has four scroll bracket feet.
