On the upper rim of the saucer is a blue medallion with a profile of Edward VIII facing left. Above is the English royal crown and to the right and left are sprays of laurel leaves and British flags. Below is a banderole with an inscriptio. On the opposite side of the rim is the monogram ER VIII surmounted by a crown. The saucer is white with a gold edge.
