About this object

The pedestal base of the compote is decorated with formal patterns in relief touched with gold. The rims of the base and dish are pink with rococo scrolls in gold. The bowl is painted in colors with a landscape and exotic birds in the center. The underside of the bowl has a matching border and three smaller landscapes each with a simple exotic bird.
