About this object

The centerpiece has a white putto carved in the round squatting over a dog and a dead rabbit. He forms the pedestal for a dish. The dish has an openwork railing, a pink and gold rim, and in the center is a landscape with two exotic birds on a white ground. The base is plain pink resting on a molded laurel wreath.
