About this object

The sugar basin has a pedestal base molded in relief with formal motifs in white touched with gold. The rims of the pedestal, bowl, dish, and cover are pink with gold rococo scrolls. The bowl has two landscapes with exotic birds in the center. The cover is similarly decorated and has a twisted twig with leaves for a handle, and a hole for a spoon.
