About this object

A cylindrical coffee pot with a domed cover and a sloping neck. It stands on a waisted foot. On the front is a rectangular classical scene with a shepherd at the left and at the right a woman with an arrow in her breast shot by cupid from above. The rest of the ground has an elaborate pattern in many colors. The cover has a round knob on the top and bands of elaborate floral designs. The handle is rectangular at the bottom and curved at the top, ending in a scroll. The body of the pot has several bands of motifs, including foliage, scrolls, faces, and beading.
