About this object

The statuette shows a small boy standing. He holds a rectangular basket which hangs from his shoulders and contains some purple objects which he is selling. He holds one in his raised right hand. He wears a conical dark red hat with a spotted brown fur cuff, rust-red pants, white stockings, and black shoes. He tilts his head to the left. He stands on a flat square base covered with dull green grass and a green stump which supports the figure. The base is white with a gold band.
