About this object

The statuette shows a pair of lovers. The man is standing with his right arm around the neck of the woman. He is holding flowers in his right hand in front of her. He wears an armor-like vest in red and gold, and holds a helmut under his arm. He also wears a short green skirt, red knee pants and sandals. The woman is seated, and holds a letter in her right hand. Her head is turned away from him. There is a white dove with outspread wings on her lap. She wears a small mauve pink hat, white blouse, yellow bodice, and a white skirt decorated with flower clusters. At their feet are two seated sheep and a white spotted dog. They stand on a a white base touched with green. At the back are two white tree trunks originally filled with green leafy branches.
