An unglazed group of two peasant men in long coats, leather boots, and hats engaged in an animated discussion. The man on the right wears a gray coat with a brown belt, a brown with a narrow black visor and black boots. The man on the left wears a black coat with a red belt, a black and grey hat, and pale yellow boots. They are standing on a grayish surface meant to suggest a sidewalk.

- MARK [Factory mark ca. 1925-1930] Stamped in blue overglaze on underside of base. The mark comprises the Soviet seal above a circular frame within which is written "Dulevskaia f-ka imeni Pravdy" (Translation: Dulevo Plant named for the Newspaper Pravda). In the center of the frame is the word 'Farfortrest' (Trans: Porcelain Trust), the name of the agency overseeing its work. mark 34 Impressed in paste on underside. Presumably, this is the old model number used by the Kuznetsov Works (the former factory owner).
