About this object

The lamps consist of a glass globe set on a brass base. Within each glass globe is a miniature sailing ship, flying an American flag and sailing on simulated water. The round brass base has a lacy openwork top and four outsplayed scroll feet that end in dolphins. This is nailed to a mahogany truncated chanelled column.
