About this object

Sleeveless black evening dress of acetate moiré with sequined lace bib flounce. Nylon machine-made lace covers the bodice and forms a  long sequin-studded ruffle at the neckline drapping over the shoulders. At the waist is a wide vertically pleated cumberbund over a gathered full skirt. Fastens at the center-back with a zipper and a single hook-and-eye closure. Interior skirt of plain-weave acetate for added fullness.
