Folding brise fan made of thin, pierced, tortoiseshell sticks and guards connected with a brown silk ribbon at top and a mother of pearl washer at the fan head. The obverse of the sticks are also painted with alternating pink and blue flowers which are visible through the thin sticks on the reverse. Maker is european.
