The exterior of the Louis Vuitton trunk is in leather with brass corners and hinges (all stamped), two leather handles and fittings for a leather strap. It bears painted black marks and numbers and a yellow, white and blue stripe. Inside, the hinged rectangular lid is lined in ivory linen. It reveals a removable tray lined with the same fabric.
