About this object

The exterior of the Louis Vuitton lingerie travelling desk trunk is in leather with brass corners and hinges (all stamped) and two leather handles. It bears painted black marks and numbers and a yellow, white and blue stripe. The hinged – almost square – lid, inside lined in ivory linen, and the rectangular front opening reveal a black movable tablet to be used as a desk, various compartments and drawers with leather pulls, for gloves, ribbons, lingerie, shoes and a large hat basket lined in ivory linen.
