About this object

Cap shaped child’s bonnet in peach colored silk velvet, soft form with wired edge to shape tight brim edged in rabbit fur approximately 1” wide. The edge sits at the bottom in the back and rolls up in the front revealing the underside which is ruched and tacked in the same velvet. The crossed seams, which form the crown, are covered in a couched row of matching silk floss. Each side of the bonnet, over the ears, begins with a 3 tier half bow of peach satin 1.5”W ribbon tie 22” long on each side.
