About this object

First class. Gold ball-tipped maltese cross enameled red with gold imperial eagles between the arms. The central medallion of white enamel portrays the saints initials SS in faded red surrounded by green enameled laurel on a gold band. Reverse is plain gold with identical center, sewn to full sash.
