About this object

Eight clusters of rays around a medallion which features in the center the letters SS for St. Stanislas enameled in red against a white ground. Outside this, in silver gilt letters on a white enameled ground is an inscription. Around inscription is a border decorated with three groups of laurel leaves in silver gilt on a ground of green enamel.
