About this object

Background of bowl inside and out is stippled and gilded. In central medallion inside is a fantastic bird in enamel surrrounded by a border of turquoise dots and then more elaborate decorative motifs. Inner sides have a floral scrolls in enamel and near rim is a row of turquoise dots. Motifs are repeated on outer sides. Three ball feet are decorated with twisted wire decoration. Wires are unussually thick and raised. Unusual dark purple translucent enamel.
